I finished reading world’s most famous diary of all time “The dairy of Anne Frank”. I should have read it a long back may be atleast a couple of years back.

Anne’s diary reminds us, how lucky we are to live in a world without war, to be free and to enjoy life. Her dairy tells us about the days she and her family went hiding.

Anne starts her dairy telling us how she gets the dairy. She calls her dairy as kitty. She see a friend, to whom she can confide, in kitty.
Anne and her family goes hiding because they were unfortunate Jews who Hitler believed have no rights to be happy or even to live. Their hiding place was annexe of Anne’s daddy office. They were joined by Van Dan and family. Anne later on develops a romantic relation with Peter, Van dan’s son.
She describes Van Dan’s wife as obnoxious and complaining.
They were later joined by a dentist Dussel. Anne dislikes him too.
They were helped by few office staffs, Victor Kugler, Johannes Kleiman, Miep Gies, and Bep Voskuijl, and they were the only people who knew about Anne’s hiding place.
Anne describes her relation with other members of annexe including her troubled relation with her mother. She also gives vivid description of the daily routine there and about the food they ate during that time.

Anne was a outspoken girl with strong determination and desires. Her elder sister was soft spoken and attached their mother Edith. Anne was more attached to their father Otto.
Anne had a opinion on everything, this included, politics, love, relation. social life etc. And she was frank enough to speak it out, which created friction in relations.
She was a typical teenager with her own thoughts and craved for independence.
And most importantly, she choose her words really well to express her inner self.
Her life at annexe comes to end after 2 years when they were taken to concentration camp by German Police. Anne and her sister dies there. The lone survivor from the annexe is Anne’s father Otto Frank, who later on publish Anne’s dairy.

Anne’s dairy is not just a dairy but a sad monument of man’s barbarism and brutality.

May there be peace in this world!!!!!!!!!!!!!
